Presenter Agreement
In this document:
- “The Event” refers to the Hypnosis World™ Mid-America Conference 2025.
- “Organizer” refers to Rich Guzzi, Jolana Andre, and their authorized team.
- “Presenter” refers to you, the selected speaker.
By submitting your speaker deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following:
Presentation Commitment:
Presentation Format & Compensation
- Presenters will deliver a 55-minute educational session during the main conference (Friday, Saturday, or Sunday).
- Presenters will not be financially compensated for their presentation.
- In exchange, Presenter receives free general admission to the entire event.
Approved Content
- Presenter agrees to deliver the topic as approved by Organizer at the assigned date and time.
- Organizer makes no guarantees regarding audience size, but all sessions are given equal promotional and logistical support.
Recording Policy
- Organizer may record your session for educational or promotional use. Presenter will receive a complimentary copy of the final recording.
- Organizer reserves the right to sell or distribute this content.
- No outside recordings are permitted without express permission from both Organizer and Presenter.
Sales & Promotions
- Presenter may include up to 5 minutes of promotional content at the end of their presentation.
- Sales are not permitted in the presentation rooms after your speech to be respectful of the next speaker. Direct those interested to your vendor booth or discuss it during networking breaks.
- Presenters interested in promoting products or services beyond the presentation must purchase a vendor booth.
Speaker Responsibilities:
Speaker Fee
- A $100 refundable speaker fee is required to secure your presentation slot.
- This fee will be fully refunded after your presentation is successfully delivered.

No AV Equipment Provided
- Projectors, screens, and similar AV tech will not be provided or allowed during sessions. Please prepare accordingly.
Marketing:
As a valued presenter you play a vital role in the success of the event. To ensure a smooth and impactful experience, all presenters agree to the following responsibilities:
- Promote Your Appearance: Share your participation with your network via email lists, websites, and social media platforms. Promoting your talk anywhere and everywhere to helps boost attendance and supports the growth of the hypnosis community.
- Attend a Pre-Event Speaker Meeting: Participate in at least one virtual speaker meeting prior to the event. These sessions help align our goals, share important logistics, and give you the tools needed to deliver an outstanding presentation.
Legal and Conduct Terms:
Intellectual Property
- Presenter retains all intellectual property rights to their original content and materials.
- Organizer retains rights only to recorded content produced during the conference.
Code of Conduct
- Presenter agrees to read and comply with the official Hypnosis World™ Code of Conduct, promoting a respectful, inclusive, and harassment-free environment.
Professional Standards
- Presenter is responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of all statements made during their session.
- Organizer reserves the right to remove any Presenter who engages in conduct that reflects negatively on the event or violates the code of conduct.
Limitation of Liability
- Both parties agree to indemnify and hold harmless the other from any losses or liabilities resulting from breaches of this contract or negligence related to participation in the event.
Legal Fees
- Should a legal dispute arise, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees and legal costs.
Severability
- If any part of this contract is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.
Public Representation
- Presenters may not imply endorsement from Hypnosis World™ or misrepresent their role. Misuse may result in removal from the event.
