About Mike Deninger

In his mid-forties Mike Deninger left a successful career as a university administrator in deaf education, earned a degree in mental health counseling and opened a private practice specializing in trauma treatment.

He was drawn to this work after completing his own treatment for PTSD from childhood sexual trauma. To further hone his skills, he earned trainer certifications in Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, Eye Movement Integration and NLP from the American Hypnosis Training Academy.

He has been training others in the use of these techniques for over 20 years. In 2021, Mike published “Multichannel Eye Movement Integration: The Brain Science Path to Easy and Effective PTSD Treatment” by modernizing the original Eye Movement Integration procedure developed by Steve and Connirae Andreas into a comprehensive treatment modality.

In addition to in-person and live streamed trainings, on-demand webinars are offered through the MEMI website.

Plans are now being realized to train and certify practitioners in the hypnotherapy and NLP fields to use MEMI with their clients. Master trainers are also being licensed to teach the MEMI protocol to practitioners in all parts of the world.

Mike resides in Tucson with his husband and their pitbull mix named Gracie.
